Back-to-school is usually an exciting time around here at Minno. We connect with many families who are looking to start the year off with God at the center of their plans. But we understand that “back-to-school” in the time of Coronavirus looks different for every family and very different than anything we’ve experienced before. We know the challenges parents and educators are facing right now are overwhelming and confusing. We want YOU to know that our team is praying every day for families all over the world and the kids who are trying to navigate learning during this unique season. 

We know some may actually be heading “back-to-school” and some may not . . . some may be trying homeschool this year for the first time . . . some may be navigating a hybrid approach with their school district. We’re all in different situations and yet we’re all in this together as we RETURN TO LEARN this school year.

Over the next several weeks we hope to bring a little fun to families in the midst of this challenging time. Minno wants to support you as you RETURN TO LEARN this year—whatever that looks like for you.

Before you launch into learning this year, we want to pray this prayer over you. As you read it, remember that we are here to support you and your family.

Dear God,

We know that parents and teachers everywhere are tired. They need your grace, now more than ever, to navigate this unique school year and all the challenges it will bring. We ask you to cover them and comfort them with your great love. Bring wisdom and peace that passes understanding. We trust you to provide everything they need and to bring beauty to the lives of their families, even in the midst of what seems like a mess. God, You are bigger than technology issues . . . You are bigger than our fears . . . You are bigger than COVID-19. Thank you for showing up in BIG ways for every family, according to Your will and their needs.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
