Dear Father,

As we close out 2020—

the hardest or at least, most odd year we’ve ever had,

we thank You for seeing us through it.

We have no idea what 2021 is going to look like—

yet we trust You will guide us to move forward with peace.

No matter what is behind us or what lies ahead,

we know our hope can only be found in You.

Unite our hearts so we can grow together,

no matter what comes our way.

Please lead us through every challenge we face

and each decision we have to make.

Remind us daily of all we have to be thankful for—

most of all, each other and Your love.

Help us to understand the unique purpose

You have for our family this year.

Show us ways we can share Your light

and love with others when they need it most.

May we find moments of laughter and joy,

even in the midst of our ordinary days.

Thank You for being our ever-present help.
