Introducing Iesodo – an brand new series on Minno! Iesodo (pronounced Yay-Sa-Doe) is a wise dove whose name means “The Way of Jesus.” He and his lovable feathered friends live in the Holy Land in a beautiful Cypress tree on the shores of a vast lake (or as we know it, the Sea of Galilee). The birds are an unlikely group of friends, and though they have their differences, they have one thing in common: since they met Iesodo, their lives have never been the same!

What is Iesodo?

Iesodo is a 13-episode animated series that teaches about Jesus and his life through a dove named Iesodo and his friends. Let’s meet the characters of Iesodo! 

Iesodo is a kind and wise white dove. As leader of the flock, he spreads his message of love and kindness wherever he goes, changing the lives of birds everywhere. 

Maggie is a Palestinian Sunbird who has had a tough life. 

Barry is a Hoopoe, the national bird of Israel. He is upset when Iesodo goes against their age-old ways. 

Rocky is a Bulbul, a common bird. He is our narrator. 

Tom is a Kingfisher and a nervous little fellow, which often leads to humorous misunderstandings. 

Jack and Jacob are pelican brothers, who seldom see eye-to-eye on anything, except their love for Iesodo. 

What Parents Should Know

Iesodo is a beautifully-animated series that will teach kids about Jesus’ fundamental teachings of love and kindness. It provides wonderful opportunities for family discussions about what Jesus was teaching, why he came, and how we can live out the things we learn from Jesus’ life.
