We draw people to Christ, not by loudly discrediting what they believe, by telling them how wrong they are and how right we are, but by showing them a light that is so lovely that they want with all their hearts to know the source of it. Madeleine L’Engle
. . . . . . . . . .
How did you come up with the vision for your company and how has it evolved since then?
The business was born out of a desire to have a flexible career so I could be home more for my kids.
People ask me how I do it all. But I have a team of nine amazing people that help make it happen.
Don’t believe the lie that moms can’t dream. Allow yourself to dream so your kids can see you try for a hard thing. Emily Ley
How would encourage moms to help them find balance?
Balance is much like riding a bike. You are constantly shifting your weight from left to right.
This analogy is full of grace.
Sometimes you lean into work. Sometimes you lean into home. Life is a constant shift from side to side and finding that sweet spot.
Allow yourself the power to say ‘no’ when you need to.
Boundaries are hard but saying ‘no’ is necessary to protect what truly matters most to you and your family. Emily Ley
What is one vintage value you think is harder today and how can we encourage kids in it?
Kindness
Kids are seeing the opposite of kind in so many ways in the world. Kids need to be reminded to always be looking out for others and pulling them in.
. . . . . . . . . .
What is something that was true about life when you were growing up that you wish were still true today?
My parents protected our time and didn’t over-extend us.
They found it so important to have dinner at the table together as often as possible.

Kids unload their souls at bedtime. That time of connection is worth fighting for. Emily Ley
What is something you loved when you were a kid?
TGIF – Friday night shows
Family Matters
It offered a cadence in our week for our family.
. . . . . . . . . .
What kind of hope would you want to offer parents in this season?
We are just trying to make the best decisions for our kids.
Grace not perfection.
We’re raising adults, not children.
The most important work we do is inside the walls of our house. Emily Ley
New Children’s Book: You’re Always Enough
May 10th
You’re always enough, and more than I hoped for.
Kids feel like they are not enough or they’re too much.
I love you when you’re happy.
I love you when you’re sad.
I love you when you’re angry.
I love you when you’re mad.
I hope that kids feel a huge hug when they read this book.
Kids need to know they are made wonderfully on purpose, for a purpose. Emily Ley
