We need to be okay with our kids not liking us from time to time.

Guiding Principles:

  • Don’t ever stop reading (actual books on paper).
  • Be curious .  . . a lifelong learner.
  • Recognizing when things are spinning out at home and taking responsibility for it.
  • Cheer your child on. Call out their strengths. Support and encourage. But also, don’t be afraid to guide them in things they struggle with.

What we’re learning from our kids:

Boldness and zeal.

Confidence in their own skin.

Resilience.
